I am Curly Brackets and this is my home page. I offer you a place to relax and to talk to me and other uses. There's a forum on this site, there's a guest book and there's a contact form you can use.This site is mostly about my BOINC career, therefore the forum contains a section dedicated to BOINC matters.
To the left you see a graphic representation of my BOINC statistics that should get updated every half hour or so.
Unfortunately it can only grab statistic data from those projects that are online, so a couple of them will always remain blank.

The BOINC framework comprises the concept of teams. People can team up and pile up their credit for the benefit of the team. Not that individuals have to hand over their credit to the team or the manager of the team, they keep their credit; but a members credit is at the same time also granted to the team as long as you stay with this team and stays with the team when somebody leaves. But that's not all, it's just one aspect. The aspect of a (hopefully) friendly competition between teams on who has the most members, who has the most credit and so on. |

World Community Grid is another way to occupy your computer when it has nothing to do. WCG can be joined through the BOINC client and you can choose from a multitude of projects that are available at WCG. These include FightAIDS@home, Help conquer Cancer, Nutricious Rice for the World, Help Fight Childhood Cancer, Help Cure Muscular Distrophy - and a few more. |
